I'm hoping Whisenhunt is done and Tony doesn't press his luck. I liked what I've seen of his slider. It's nowhere near good, nor is it even average, but it's passable, and his change is still outstanding. If he can get more out of the slider there might be something to him.

I love every tweet I see about how an Adames/Chapman/Devers HR increases their trade value. They've each played at least 9 seasons of MLB. The all have multiple years and a lot of money left on their deals. You think a HR today is going to make a team suddenly go from not wanting to take on that contract to wanting to? They're already willing to take them or they aren't.

I appreciate the HRs he hit when the offense was struggling, but now that the offense is fine, I'd like to move on from Haase. We're in greater need of a defensive backup than a guy who might run into one occassionally but doesn't give you much behind the plate.
