One part of adulthood nobody warns you about is that it does not give you time to sulk. Life just keeps knocking you over and you have to stand up, pay bills, plan, solve problems. You can not just roll on the floor like a child anymore.

Evolution doesn’t say we came from apes. Humans and apes share a common ancestor. That’s like saying you came from your cousin. Also, Nothing in science is totally proven. It updates when new evidence arrives. Unlike religion, it doesn’t ask you to just believe. You can ask questions.

Religion is crazy, you will defend something you have no original idea about and ready to stake your life on it if asked. And the honest thing is, your religion asks you to believe without proof, which is literally the definition of faith and that's fine. But don’t confuse faith with fact. No religion has ever produced verifiable evidence for its claims. You believe it works for you, fine. You believe your books, fine too. That’s different from it being objectively true.
