Hi Everyone, I started my coding journey yesterday.
These are the steps i took while starting:
1. I installed Git and set it up using instructions i found on youtube and i studied the difference between Git and Github.
2. I downloaded VS Code to write and edit and my codes. Link it with my github.
3. I downloaded cursor to help assist with the process but I still had to understand what was going on and adjust things myself. I also linked it with my GitHub.
-Side note: I also installed node.js
4. Spent the whole day understanding how JavaScript works and how to save my project and push to github
The main challenge was figuring out how to structure the UI and manage interactions without everything breaking. Took some trial and error to get the layout and logic to behave properly.
5. I created a vercel account and deployed my first project from github. Successfully built my first game
You can check it out here: training-two-chi.vercel.app
It’s a fun and addictive game btw. Focused on implementing the movement logic and handling how tiles merge correctly after each swipe.
Getting the game-over state and score tracking to work properly took some debugging. Also added a timer and levels. Still tweaking more things.

Is it that people don’t read report or we just choose to follow our voice. How can you say that 600k/month is “managing” in this present Nigeria?

giving back some of what God gave me even if I took a hit as well, it’ll come back to me in time.

There’s a serious Lassa fever outbreak in Nigeria right now where 146 people have been confirmed dead in 11 weeks and there have been 582 confirmed cases.
25 doctors have been infected, and 3 have lost their lives.
If you are reading this, please stay safe. This virus spreads through the urine or droppings of infected rats, or human-to-human contact.
It starts like an ordinary fever, but it can quickly move to bleeding, a swollen face, and shock.
ALWAYS:
1. Cover your food and pots tightly.
2. Block the holes where rats enter your house.
3. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap.
4. If you have a persistent fever, stop swallowing random drugs from the chemist. Go to the hospital immediately.
Our health workers are at risk, and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is life-saving. We cannot afford to lose more people to a preventable disease.
Stay safe and retweet this to save a life today!
