this scene rewrote my brain chemistry! he was desperate for that kiss, he got down so low! but the entire thing was on hannah's terms, at her speed! I love everything about how this was handled!!
Plus, garrett got into the squat of the century for tht kiss & we love him for it!!

@0613yun even if show is awesome, once you read the book it's hard not to compare. the way garrett was so careful & patient in book just felt more real bcos of her trauma. i get why you wanted them to keep that.. what other parts of the adaptation did you actually like more than the book?

@FemPsycheGhost i still enjoyed it regardless bc if the book didn’t exist or if i simply hadn’t read it i honestly wouldn’t have had any issues with the showrunner’s approach 😂 it’s just that having read the book i can say it was the one thing i would’ve preferred they kept the same in the show

@0613yun Book has slow burn with all teasing makeouts & almost moments which was fire, but the show jumping in more after that scene felt satisfying too😁 for me book patience was hotter bcos of how much it built the tension, but Im not mad at the show giving us more. What you think most?

@FemPsycheGhost if i said i was more satisfied w/ how quickly tv show hannahgarrett took things after their mutual masturbation scene bc i truly quite enjoyed the baby steps in the book, there was increased physical intimacy, more makeout sessions some almost moments before they finally have sex

@FemPsycheGhost i don’t necessarily think tv show hannahgarrett rushed it, i just feel like the show runner took a different approach? like hannah was ready to move on from justin after she solved the “problem” and she was fully ready to have sex. but i would be lying

@0613yun hannah was ready to go but garrett press brakes & said baby steps. huge respect. most guys just gone with the moment but he actually cared about her feeling safe. I really loved that about him.. phone interruption was evil.. did they keep that energy or you think they rushed it?
