"Using a pre-workout for energy when you haven't been sleeping well, hydrating, or eating consistently is like rearranging furniture on a sinking ship." - @Wendi_Irlbeck This is one of my favorite things to say to our new parents that always makes their young athletes laugh during a consult. But I have several linked videos in our performance resources for them to watch on my Youtube or IG page. Share this with a teen athlete who is trying to convince you they "need caffeine" and then show them all my other videos/graphics on fueling up. Sleep is king and nutrition is queen.
