At ARC we ended Winter Break with an exciting trip to the Field Museum. Kids got to see Sue the T-Rex, explore the lives of Ancient Egyptians & Indigenous Peoples, and a lot interesting wildlife exhibits!

Last week, our team got to celebrate the upcoming holidays by spending time together at the #FieldMuseum in Chicago! 🦕 From behind-the-scenes to walking through as many exhibits as possible (& ending with a fun dinner), it was so great getting to see each other in person!

After #AHA24 my son Carl and I visited the Field Museum in Chicago. Their most famous exhibit is Sue, the most complete T-Rex skeleton. She is both magnificent and terrifying.

Like most bird species in North America, roseate spoonbills don't mate for life, but they do stay with each other for the entire breeding season. 💗

Male roseate spoonbills are known to bob their head and shake nearby twigs to gain a female's attention. 🥰 Once they've successfully matched, males gather those shaken sticks and present them to their date to build a nest together. 🪺

I want someone to look at me like a roseate spoonbill. 🙏 😭
