@alicekeeler Housing is the biggest cost difference for sure! But thinking about leveraging that to our benefit in retirement by selling here, moving back east, and buying/building on L. Superior lakeshore property as we could still pocket a sizable chunk when done. Pros and cons everywhere!

@FifeTechTOSA Traffic was a big plus for me moving to Kansas.... As in there is not any. My 6 bedroom 3 bath house huge yard is 205k in Kansas

@alicekeeler We aren’t Kansas cost of living, but cost of living is considerably higher in Redmond than here! Their current salary schedule tops at $120K. Their traffic is also far worse.

@bethanymac12 She is a stunning blue fawn color and the biggest love-sponge imaginable. Her name is Cookie, and here she is dreaming of life outside of the “pokey” once she is healed. Still six weeks of therapy/recovery/confinement to go.

@bethanymac12 Agreed!! Recently we found this beautiful Pittie dumped along a street in Tacoma. The Humane Soc. sponsored her having CCL surgery on both hind legs. She is now convalescing with us at home. PSA: Pitties-like Dobies-can be some of the most sensitive, sweetest dogs of all!

I think there must be a gene that makes you love dogs. I don’t understand people who lack it.
