@SavagePoker Any reasonable poker player with experience can eyeball a count as long as all of the largest denoms are visible. Even if the stacks are over or under 20 chips high. It comes down to paying attention.

It’s a major problem, and the OP has a valid point—no one seems willing to enforce it, even though it’s clearly stated as a rule. What’s the purpose of having a rule if it’s ignored or enforced inconsistently? Many hesitate to act, fearing backlash, losing business, or being singled out as the bad guy. As a result, they turn a blind eye, even when the issue is right in front of them.

Some poker dealers do EVERYTHING except deal the game. Obsessively counting the rack, obsessing over a $2 shortage, talking to everyone in the room, while asking the players, "where are we?" Dude, deal the game first, you'll make A LOT more money.

@TheTrooper97 Next. Building relationships by chatting with people could help boost tips… because again, Vegas players and tips are god awful from what I’ve been told from people that have worked all over that city.

@TheTrooper97 A few things here. Experienced dealer for 21 years. If you don’t report a shortage within the first hand, the variance is on you., and in Vegas that’s a small percentage of the shitty tips they earn from all the miserable shit regs there.
