Let's be real, GCheese's also doesn't match with her in-game sprite, but at least the colour shift isn't very jarring. Now look at DCacao's... Like, if you're so scared of dark skin, AT LEAST do the bare minimum of GCheese's colour it's not killing anyone

If you give the impression that a character is dark skinned regardless if they don't have a canon race, people would expect the character to consistently have dark skinned and not get light washed in any way
