This #FireTruckFriday we are featuring Brush 551. B-551 is a 2002 Ford F550 type 6 wildland engine. B-551 is outfitted to respond to wildland fires locally as well as national deployments on large wildfires. You can see B-551 working hard on two separate incidents from 2023.

EFR assisted with the #CascadeFire southwest of Idaho Springs on 12/6. Today (12/7) the National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning until 5 p.m. Steady winds of 30-45 mph with gusts to 80 mph are expected. Call 911 if you see damaged electrical lines, smoke, or fire.
