A final post for the term, a massive thank you to all the parents and the local community for all their kind words, cards and presents at the end of term. It was great to see you all for one final time before a well earned rest for us all for half term.

So proud that we already have 41 @VoyageEP Coaching Leaders go through this amazing programme created and led by @EllwoodNicola and a new cohort began today! It’s a year long commitment for each leader to use coaching to unlock new possibilities and outcomes ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hooray! The carrots are adding up and we have three more Carrot champions! Well done and keep it up.

Wow! Our attendance has continued to be as amazing as ever with all year groups achieving above 98%. We had three winning year groups with an incredible 99%. I wonder who will win the prize next week?

Hutchinson House have achieved an amazing 3000 Carrot points making them this week's winner. The other houses are close so every Carrot counts.

Rundell class had a busy afternoon combining Geography and History whilst finding out all about the Vikings who settled in our local area. They left their mark in place names and the children identifyied Viking place names using maps- even Fishtoft has a Viking origin!

Today at @FishtoftAcademy, we had special visitors from @Rhubarbtheatre deliver an assembly about collection day ♻️🗑 The children enjoyed the performance and learnt about the impact rubbish has on wildlife #PlasticPledge

National poetry day became poetry week in Rundell class with a chance to find out how poets write poems, watching poets read their own poems and writing our own poems- what a week! #NationalPoetryDay #Fishtoftflow

We love our amazing attendance scores with three year groups achieving 100% attendance this week. Well done year 5 for an outstanding 3rd week of being top of the tank for attendance.

A busy praise assembly with star of the week, eco captains and carrot champions. Phew! I wonder who it will be next week?

Our school council votes have been counted and our new representatives chosen. Well done to all our students who were brave enough to offer their services and speak up before their classmates.

A busy week for Rundell class with conjunction scavenger hunt, No Outsiders sessions and a chance to be Saxon spies to find out about Viking longboats. Phew , we are ready for the weekend!

Rundell class launched their new theme with a busy afternoon at the trading market to ensure we had all the items needed for our Viking Voyage. Products were made, traded and sold before our ships left. One sank the rest arrived in Britain for our new life!

Don't forget PE kits tomorrow for a fun filled PE session for Rundell and Weisner class!

We are so excited to welcome back our learners and their families (old and new). The school looks fab, teachers are ready and we can't wait to see you all tomorrow!

We had a lovely end of year party with games, snacks, activities and lollies. It was lots of fun and a great end of the year. Year 6 enjoyed their fast passes and VIP zone. Sorry about the gift of water pistols in the party bag!
