THE MAJOR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SOWORE AND VERYDARKMAN IS THAT ONE FIGHTS AGAINST THE SYSTEM OF OPPRESSION ITSELF WHILE THE OTHER FIGHTS PERSONAL BATTLES WITH PEOPLE WHO HE HAS BEEFS WITH, THE DIFFERENCE IS ALWAYS CLEAR.

Just in: “The Reason I don’t like VeryDarkMan is because he is one of the Most Powerful Nigerian Youths right now he has the Power to Start a Revolution in Nigeria and rid the entire System of Bad Leaders but VDM will never do it because the current system is favoring him and he doesn’t want it to change, he has found a way to make a living out of your P@in, he needs this bad system to never change so he can keep traveling from state to state and make videos and then ask Nigerians to keep Donating Hundreds of Millions into his NGO” - Intelligent Nigerian Man Gothic Aboki Dissects VDM

🚨🗣️ Barcelona president Joan Laporta: "My relationship with Florentino Perez is based on mutual respect. In the past, we were involved together in the Super League project, where our interests overlapped and thus there was greater communication." "But this communication began to fade from the moment they appeared in the Negreira case. They offer me all sorts of explanations that I don't understand, but I considered it my duty to continue with the Super League matter because I wanted to achieve a series of things for the benefit of Barcelona." "However, I see that things are escalating, and that every time the judge tries to dismiss the case, they present decisive evidence—a statement on the radio or in the media—and these pieces of evidence ultimately lead nowhere." "There is a very obscure interest here. They want to prolong this procedure to justify what their channel says, which claims that the referees favor Barcelona." "This has led to a deterioration in the relationship at the institutional level. As for the personal level, there is mutual respect. But the relationship between the two clubs has been severely damaged."

VDM went as far as threatening to send SOWORE to prison Omohhh😂😂 I no wan talk before oh but VDM is just being outrightly disrespectful to the same Omoyele Sowore stood for him and railed help for him back in 2024 when there was no ratel to save him “the People” weaponized the criminal justice system against you. Omoyele Sowore has never rem@nded anyone in pris0n; rather, he has always stood on the side of those oppr£ss£d by such actions. I am deeply concerned and, honestly, disheartened that Barr. Marshal D F Abubakar would be associated with such an act.

This generation doesn’t fight oppression—we curate it. We pick and choose which injustice deserves outrage based on who’s involved. If the victim isn’t “one of us,” we scroll past, stay silent, or worse—join the mob. So let’s be clear. Did Blord kill anyone? No. Did he steal? No. Did he rape? No. So what exactly is the offense? An alleged misuse of identity—something born from online back-and-forth, the same digital playground both parties willingly stepped into. Or have we forgotten that VDM himself tried to trademark Blord’s name? Yet suddenly, the full weight of the law is unleashed. Why now? Why this energy? This isn’t justice. This is selective outrage dressed up as morality. And then comes the hypocrisy. When Sowore speaks for someone you like, he’s a hero—a fearless voice, a revolutionary. You cheered him when he defended Regina Daniels against Ned Nwoko. You amplified him. You praised his courage. But the moment he defends someone you’ve decided to hate, he becomes a nuisance. A “clout chaser.” An “attention seeker.” Same man. Same principles. Different target—different reaction. That’s not integrity. That’s tribalism. You don’t stand for justice. You stand for comfort. And here’s the uncomfortable truth: voices like Sowore’s don’t bend to public mood swings. They don’t wait for permission. They don’t check popularity charts before speaking. Call him names. Troll him. Try to drown him out. It won’t work. Because this isn’t about liking Blord or disliking VDM. It’s about whether the law is a tool for justice—or a weapon for convenience. Some of us have already chosen. We don’t move with the crowd. We don’t switch sides for applause. We don’t dilute truth to fit narratives. We stand on principle—loud, unshaken, and unapologetic.

the ongoing social media discourse shows the difference between vdm's perfomative activism as an individiual and @sowore's consistent liberationist activism which puts democratic rights and organisation-building at its centre. vdm's activism is nothing but a self-serving ego trip

African Action Congress
PRESS STATEMENT 2nd April, 2026 NB: For immediate release Tinubu's $6 Billion Loan: A Government That Funds Itself While Nigerians Die The African Action Congress (AAC) strongly condemns the continued failure of the Tinubu administration to address the total collapse of security across Nigeria. At a time when communities are being overrun by bandits, terrorists, and criminal gangs, and innocent Nigerians are slaughtered daily, this government has chosen to prioritize borrowing billions of dollars over protecting lives. Rather than demonstrate urgency in confronting the worsening insecurity that has turned large parts of the country into killing fields, the Tinubu government hastily secured approval for a staggering $6 billion loan from a compliant, rubber-stamp National Assembly. This reckless move exposes the regime’s priority of indebting the nation while abandoning its fundamental responsibility of protecting the lives and properties of Nigerians. The AAC finds it unacceptable that a government which cannot guarantee basic security continues to plunge the country deeper into debt, with no clear accountability or tangible results to justify such borrowing. This is not governance, it is irresponsibility and impunity on a catastrophic scale. We therefore call on Nigerians to wake up, stop tolerating this level of government impunity and organize towards mass actions that can cause a fundamental shift from our life threatening realities. A government that cannot protect its citizens has lost its legitimacy. The time has come for citizens to organize, resist, and demand a system that works for us, not against us. The AAC remains committed to the struggle for a just, secure, and truly democratic Nigeria. AAC - Take It Back! Signed: Rex I. Elanu National Publicity Secretary African Action Congress (AAC)

I have read about the court-ordered detention of an individual known as B-Lord, and I must say this clearly that no one should celebrate the incarceration of any person under the color of law. I have reached out to my astute rights lawyer, Marshal D F Abubakar, urging him to disengage from the process. We must all agree that sending B-Lord to prison is not a victory for legal brilliance or advocacy. Rather, it risks emboldening a system of oppression that weaponizes the law against citizens. Justice must never be reduced to punishment for its own sake. I will work to ensure this case is discontinued and B-Lord is released without further delay.

“The sacrifice of Lumumba is greater to me than the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ knew he was going to wake up after three days, but the people that died for me; Lumumba, Sankara, my father, Nkrumah, Steve Biko — these people d! 3d and they knew they were never going to wake up and they still d! 3d. We can not be afraid anymore. Our mission is liberation. We must liberate ourself from the hands of these people.” — Seun Kuti says.
