⚾️ MLB OPENING DAY Play #1 👨🏻🍳
Paul Skenes u6.5 Ks ( -118 | MGM )
#LetsGoBucs vs #LGM
Skenes was insanely profitable last season as I went 10 - 2 across all props let’s continue it
4.1 Innings and Threw 71 Pitches against the Dominican Republic during WBC. 4 Innings and threw 65 Pitches in final spring training start against Blue Jays
Skenes is built to throw upwards of 80 pitches but books suggest around 75 with his PO line set at O/U 15.5 even money
Line sat at 7.5 and 6.5 all season long last year during full workload so at this price I’ll bite
The Mets built well around Soto and Lindor this off season bringing in Guys that don’t Strikeout and put Balls in Play
Semien posted a career low year offensively but still maintained his Elite Bat To Ball Skills posting 74th Percentile in K%
Polanco cut his K% in HALF to 15.6 after posting a career high 29.2 K% in 2024
Bichette might be a liability on defense learning 3B but his Elite Bat to Ball across his career speaks for itself. Was 86th Percentile in K% last year despite the injuries
Mets prospect Carson Benge impressed during Spring Training earning him Right Field and the Opening Day Roster. Benge in Soring Training batted .366 with a .874 OPS but most importantly showed Elite Plate Discipline striking out just 18.8% of the time and a High Zone Contact Rate at 86.4%
Luis Robert Jr. is the only concern for High K% but he’s on a new team with more to play for so maybe he improves?
It’s opening day any type of limitations which I doubt Skenes has will play into our favor
