@AshClashYT They definitely made bots way too common, I'm getting them after just one loss sometimes which is absurd. There are supposedly no bots above 2k though

@FlyingLine_BS I like the idea of how it’s “supposed to work.” But the major issue are bot lobbies. The pity system is causing more problems than good, as it is not only interfering with proper MMR, but players are also intentionally losing games (after they’ve lost 2 in a row) to bot lobbies.

This is why I don’t like the new Trophy Matchmaking system. Trophies are losing their value. 😕 Bot games and bad matchmaking have made it so anyone can push to Prestige 2+ just by playing enough. Inevitably, if changes aren’t made soon, the new trophy system is going to end up with the same fate as the previous one. #BrawlStars

@AshClashYT This does need to be fixed and there are a lot of bugs, I just think the system is fundamentally a lot more solid than the previous one if you look at the general idea and how it's supposed to work

@FlyingLine_BS It’s not true unfortunately. I’m also getting matched with many new players with 2500+ trophy brawlers.

@AshClashYT @BSLyles The problem was that there was nowhere to go after 1k and the harsh monthly resets made any trophies pushed beyond that goal a waste of time unless you aimed for the leaderboards which didn't have meaning either because mm was random, these issues were addressed with this system

@BSLyles Exactly. A grind system will always have appeal for short term success. Just look at the previous system that made it super easy for people to push their Max Tier 1000 trophy brawlers. These types of systems lose their appeal very quickly.

@GreatGoldPirate @Saitamagoated Lots of people were deeply loyal to Dio when he died, it would have been less realistic to assume killing him would just end everything with no repercussions. Considering Dio was the one who kicked off the OG universe part of the series it makes sense to end it with him as well

@Saitamagoated But the 'curse of Dio in it's entirety' DID end in Part 3, that's why Parts 4 & 5 had moved on to tell new stories because the Dio shit was over🤷‍♂️ There was no need to drag it up again, if anything Part 6 would've been better *without* Dio being part of the plot again

in all honesty idc if you skip parts BUT why would you skip the ending of the original universe if you have already invested time to watch the first 5 parts?? Just watch the ending as well and then proceed with the new beginning. Is that not common sense?

@Abdod_The_Dude I'm talking about Chinese skins specifically because that's what the original post is referring to. Just saying they're notorious for this issue and this skin shouldn't be your point of reference when it comes to skins in general, I'm sure global devs would be more careful there

@Abdod_The_Dude I wouldn't say it's tolerable in those games either, like even if you've been playing BS for 7 years you wouldn't be able to tell this is Emz. It's a big issue in CoC too because they've gone as far as adding building skins, which means you can't tell their levels at a glance

@FlyingLine_BS I have issues recognizing some brawl and coc skins in the global versions too Its tolerable in those games because of the way they are designed but for a zoomed out game like royale that needs quick thinking and reactions theyd need to be VERY careful with the concept of skins

@guccithealien This is such a reductive and insulting take. Shrinking Rae was a massive improvement and has turned into a pretty beloved character by season 3, the problem isn't with gender swaps in general it just feels random when it comes to Tech Jacket

@zacbowden As if they found anything about Al were "useful" and they wouldn't brand anything about OS smarts with "bloat" and "spyware". It is a waste of time and effort and Microsoft shouldn't listen to them.

It looks like Microsoft has shelved plans to bring Copilot to areas of the Windows 11 shell like notifications and the Settings app. These experiences were originally unveiled in 2024, but never arrived.
