Kuwait's Environment Public Authority confirmed on Wednesday that air pollutant levels remain within approved health and environmental standards. During a media briefing, EPA Spokesperson Sheikha Al-Ibrahim said that readings from national monitoring systems, including those of Kuwait Oil Company, did not exceed safety levels. She added the authority began immediate monitoring after reports of a fire at fuel tanks at Kuwait International Airport following an Iranian drone attack, tracking smoke dispersion through field teams. In coordination with the Meteorology Department, authorities forecast the smoke plume's trajectory and identified potentially affected areas across Kuwait. She stressed monitoring continues around the clock in coordination with relevant bodies to ensure public safety.
