This isn't a boomer complaint, it's a an everyone complaint. I can't tell you how many times I've walked into an employment agency and and handed them my resume and they would say okay, fill out this entire application by hand and include everything you already have on your resume. And eventually I got tired of this and henceforth would hand the application and walked right back out. Every once in a while they'll ask why I'm leaving them and I'll tell them. There is zero reason for me to fill out that application with information I've already included on my resume. Because that's stupid. Sometimes they'd nod in agreement but most times they'd look at me as if I had lost my mind.
