One of the biggest arguments against Alberta independence is: Alberta is landlocked. How does Alberta staying in confederation help this? It doesn't. -Ottawa insists on approving anything multi-provincial. -BC is against allowing Alberta coastal access. -There is a tanker ban (C-69) on the west coast. Thanks Canada but staying in confederation really only helps you, not us.
