#Syria: a former Tiger Forces fighter, later part of the 25th Division, was shot dead last night in Khatab (N. #Hama). This is the 5th killing of a former Regime element in the region over the past 10 days, a sharp resumption of activity unseen since last summer.

@Palestine4888 Nobody takes Iran’s Axis seriously anymore on Palestine because it slaughtered Palestinians in Yarmouk and keeps calling pro-Palestine Syrians and even Hamas itself “Zionists.”

If Hezbollah stuck to fighting Israel instead of helping Assad starve and slaughter Syrian and Palestinian civilians in places like Madaya and Yarmouk, it wouldn’t be hated by all its Arab neighbors. x.com/Osinttechnical…

#Syria: the Security forces infiltrated #Suwayda-city, under Hijri control, and liberated 3 people kidnapped & held by Hijri-affiliated militias. They were successfully exfiltrated. This is the second operation of this kind this year.

Breaking. The Interior Ministry announced that its forces managed to free 3 people detained by Hijri-affiliated fighters following an operation inside the city #Suwayda. They were exfiltrated and handed over to their families. This is the first time Government forces infiltrated the city, under Hijri's National Guard control, to carry out a raid. #Syria.

People are honestly extremely annoying and silly. You need to leave the president alone and stop invading his presence non-stop like rabid paparazzi. If you ever come across our president, do absolutely nothing, don't approach and don't beg for a picture because if everyone did that, he wouldn't be able to move from point A to point B in a thousand years.

Hezbollah incapacitated 5 IDF officers and 3 soldiers this morning in one attack: 1 officer dead + 4 seriously injured, and 3 soldiers seriously injured as well. The IDF is losing close to 50 soldiers and officers in Lebanon every week now (based on a conservative estimation of appx 9 soldiers physically/psychologically incapacitated for every fatality). This is crazy unsustainable. I have no idea what their plan is, and I don't think they do either, but if Hezbollah maintains this pace for 3-4 more months, Israel will have little to no capable land force remaining. And that's before Syria and the West Bank begin their own, final Intifada

The 1948 Nakba is very well known, but the ethnic cleansing of 1967 is discussed far lesn, ad it was utterly horrific. Historian Adam Raz has p,ublishsed a well-resourced account in Haaretz today, built on Israeli documents. Here are the main findings: 1) Israel expelled and drove out roughly 300,000 Arabs in 1967, about 200,000 Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza, and about 120,000 Syrians from the Golan, where only some 6,000 of an estimated 130,000 remained. One soldier described the Gaza raids: "We grabbed guys, stood them up and eliminated them. In hindsight it looks like murder." 2) This was not an accident; it was intentional policy, prepared for since the early 1960s. Defense Minister Dayan wanted the West Bank emptied and repeatedly welcomed reports of flight. Many villages were destroyed. The KKL later planted Canada Park over the ruins of Imwas, Beit Nuba and Yalu. One soldier said the columns of expelled families reminded him of Jews "trudging through occupied Europe," and his heart sank at the sight. 3) Those trying to return were slaughtered. Troops were ordered to shoot to kill without warning. When one soldier asked whether to fire even if he heard babies crying, the answer was: "Don't be a girl." The IDF itself reported nearly 150 Palestinians killed this way by early September, and Chief of Staff Rabin confirmed these were the standing orders. 4) Crimes were widespread: systematic looting, the execution of unarmed prisoners and civilians, and the bulldozing of Golan villages "so there'd be nowhere to return to." One of the officers who ordered prisoners executed was Moshe Levi — later IDF Chief of Staff. A soldier wrote to his girlfriend that they had turned Sinai into a "valley of slaughter," adding: "I saw too many murders to cry." 5) The legal warnings were ignored. In December 1967, Foreign Ministry legal adviser Theodor Meron wrote that the expulsions were "a grave breach of the Geneva Convention." His summary line captures the whole episode: the Ministerial Committee for Security Affairs "decided to approve the policy anyway." This sounds incredibly familiar, doesn't it? This is the Israeli way of war, based one slaughter and ethnic cleansing. Nothing changed.

Israel is not our ally. They're a foreign government that has stolen our nuclear secrets, nuclear triggers and uranium. And they built weapons of mass destruction with them. They also stole our most sensitive intelligence through Jonathan Pollard. They have robbed us of $320 billion. They made us waste $8 trillion fighting their wars in the Middle East. The way they pulled off these heists is by legally bribing almost our entire Congress and being the top donor to presidents from both parties. Their co-conspirators are the national media who cover up all these crimes and pretend that Israel is an innocent victim who desperately needs our help. When they are the exact opposite. They are an aggressive empire that takes our money and military and uses it to attack their neighbors and take their land. We have to stop this inflitration of our country by a foreign nation that has taken control of the power structure in Washington. We are occupied.

Israel is tanking globally! Across the 36 countries, a median of 67% of adults have an unfavorable view of Israel, while 25% have a favorable view. In Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain, around half of adults or more say they have a very unfavorable view of the country.

That's because generally speaking the "traditional urban bourgeois" were treacherous cowards who either overtly sympathized with the regime or turned a blind eye to its transgressions so long as their safety and financial interests were secured. Insightful read by @newlinesmag
