THREAD: COVID-19 briefing about to start in St. John's. We've been getting low confirmed cases but double digit presumptive positives each day from the rapid test kits. My first question today will be about how and why they're using these kits.

PPE is a hot topic for unions. Haggie said inventory shouldn't be a problem. Estimates there are abut 500,000 N95 masks available.

How many health care workers are isolating. About 530 across the province. There have been positive tests, but Haggie said he's unaware of any delays or disruptions in service delivery.
