@JimCarreyEugen_: I had a weird but interesting dream last night that I was your girlfriend...
English

@ImmersiveRumour I went to it yesterday and enjoyed the experience, especially the part of the crawl tunnel and the deformed fly slithering around growling and indeed invading your space whilst looking for clues...

@HMRCcustomers Yes, I understand that and it will be paid off by April. However, i still have to wait for the outcome in June, whether my appeal has been considered and with that if I get get a refund or not.
English

@Frubin So wait for the outcome of the appeal, which I mentioned should be by June 2024.
If you have set up a payment plan, any interest will have been factored in.
Tom
English

@HMRCcustomers: Hi. I still awaiting a response regarding reference GYE-ZLPI-MK2.
English

@HMRCcustomers I just don't wanted more recurrent charges added, i.e., interest rates
English

@HMRCcustomers The repayment plan has been set to pay off all the outstanding funds by April
English

@HMRCcustomers I only paid off the self-assessment that I owned before I decided to set up the repayment plan for the penalty charge.
English

@Frubin May I ask why you set up a payment plan if you have already paid your balance?
Tom
English

@HMRCcustomers To pay off the outstanding penalty charge before it is due on 21/03/2024 but it also still includes the self-assessment payment too
English

@HMRCcustomers I have set up a repayment plan, which also includes the self-assessment payment however as i have already paid this beforehand, will i get a refund or credit?
English

@Frubin OK thanks.
So as mentioned previously, you can expect a reply by the 17th June 2024.
HMRC would advise you pay the penalty, if your appeal is successful, we would then cancel the penalty and you can request a refund.
Tom
English

@HMRCcustomers Even when I checked and it stated on my portal, I did not need to file a self-assessment for tax yr 2022/2023 as i am not active in my self-employment hence why the late filing?
English

@Frubin I don't understand your reply.
To clarify, are you appealing a late payment penalty or a late filing penalty?
Tom
English

@HMRCcustomers Already paid my outstanding self-assessment, but I am now awaiting the outcome of the plenty charge for late submission on my account.
English

@Frubin So to confirm, are you appealing a late payment penalty and you haven't cleared your balance?
Tom
English

@HMRCcustomers I saw, but the regarding payment for the plenty charge is that still payable on 21/03/24 or is it being held until the response of the outcome?
English

@HMRCcustomers Even if I submitted it mid-February and the payment is due by 21/03/24? Do I still need to pay this charge?
English

@Frubin Thanks.
So you will receive a response by 17 June 2024 according to our internal timescales.
Unfortunately the timescale given online is just an estimate and can be subject to change due to demand.
Tom
English

@HMRCcustomers Actually, the response could be due today, but I have no messages on my account and/or app.
English

@HMRCcustomers Submitted on 21/02/2024. I was informed by HMRC when I phoned that I should get an response on 13/03/2024
