@MnkHumble @mariusheier Soldered the replacement in the same way. The additional scuf board had 2 wires which were soldered onto the analogues of the main board. I just swapped it like for like. Scuf impact ps4 pad btw!

@FryingScotsman_ @mariusheier Did you swap the board and solder it the same way as the original or did you solder the buttons to the add in pcb board included? If you have pics that would be appreciated it. I just got mine out as well.

Read this story to learn why you want to have the lowest possible input lag on your gamepad.

Thinking about this further: Every design/implementation loop involves alternating between planning and gathering feedback. Planning allows you to develop, feedback allows you to course correct. I believe that frequent course correction is more important than planning quality. For example, during the Korean war, the American F-86 Sabre was outclassed in every edge-of-the-envelope performance spec by its counterpart, the Soviet Mikoyan-Gurevich 15. And yet, in clashes between the two, the overall kill ratio heavily favored the Sabre. Why? Because air combat isn't a climb rate contest. It's about precision maneuvering. And the Sabre had superior control responsiveness, due to its full set of hydraulically-boosted control surfaces, which the MiG lacked. This gave it a shorter delay between between pilot input and aircraft response. This mean that American pilots were essentially playing this high-stakes video game with a much higher frame rate and lower ping time, and they could make minor corrections with greater accuracy. In other words, a tighter feedback loop wins. I believe that this is a general principle which holds true across many fields. Plans are necessary, but they are always guesswork. It is better to improve a plan by frequent grounding to reality, and course correcting, than it is to spend lots of effort on any iteration of the plan. As Fredrick Brooks put it, "Plan to throw one away. You will anyway." Just start building. Just start writing. Just start coding. It's okay if that means you make mistakes. Because those mistakes are the whole point. The work product of early design iterations isn't a successful, working program, or machine, or story, or system. The goal of your early iterations is the knowledge you gain from your failures. I haven't ever had the privilege of working with John, but I'd wager that he doesn't do a deep dive before starting to code. I'll bet he just starts coding, and the deep dives happen when those early efforts have given him a detailed understanding of the real shapes of the obstacles in his path.

@MnkHumble @mariusheier I did end up drilling it out in the end, board works well, I just couldn’t map the thumbsticks to the paddles, all face buttons worked fine. Had to program the buttons before fitting mariusheier’s board

Been saying this forever. The cheating issues AT THE MOMENT are only really bad in ranked which less than 1% of the player base plays. Of course it’s still an important factor going forward but content should be the priority. The fact we’re still playing rebirth after 5 years is criminal. Verdansk should be the last map they “bring back” and innovative new content should be the primary focus going forward. A new 72 player resurgence map needs to happen before summer comes so the resurgence community have something new to play. The fact we go literally years without map/poi/lighting changes is just not good enough. At the very least poi changes need to come every season. LTM’s should always be there for people to play across BR and Resurgence. I mean this is literally just basic stuff that a multi billion dollar company should be expected to deliver. It’s been too lazy from the dev team. I understand they have had a serious amount of work to fix other areas in the game, but from a company of that stature you expect way more content to be put into the game. The worst thing they can do now is release verdansk and do nothing else with new maps/poi’s till the new cod. That will officially kill this game off. Hoping im wrong about them and they have a plan for the rest of this year.

Cypher 091 is Definitely meta now but I think I'm on to something else here, watch this. Try the "R&K Multizoom" on it. Default reticle is ugly but if you get one of the cleaner ones for it which easily done through multi, you get more magnification and it still beams.

@RavenSoftware @Activision @Treyarch Can we get some higher tick rate servers while we’re at it? All of this extra movement just highlights how bad they currently are. If other AAA studios can afford it, so can you
