This costume was warn in 2022 by Regional “Reggie” Robertson, funeral home assistant and member of the Black Town Warrios during the Mardi Grass Indian Super Sunday. His Medicine Man Costume adorned with sequins and feathers is hand sewn and took up to a year to make 😱

We begin November by "giving thanks for the memories". This is a month of gratitude and we would like to share with you that in our museum we have a section where we offer an up close and personal look at the great farewells of some of the world's most iconic figures.

One of the most beautiful aspects of humanity is its multicultural diversity. Among the many traditions, we have El día de los muertos, which it is this Thursday. This vibrant religious festival honors the souls of the departed, a practice rooted in Mesoamerican cultures.
