From writing raps in New York to writing for The New Yorker, from studying the Black Diaspora at The Mecca to leading one of the world’s top journalism schools, Cobb’s foundation was forged right here. “With the exception of my family… no other institution has had as much of an impact on who I am as Howard.” At Howard, he learned that if you only know half the story, you hardly know it at all.
