Made $35k trading 8 minis with my personal on my laptop in front of @masterblack64 @FuturesFlow , requesting a $25k payout from TS this week as well, now probably gonna chill out rest of the day. Life’s good. A lot could change in 4 years. Lock in. I had $10k to my name a couple blue moons ago. I’m convinced if you don’t follow the grift route, you’ll make it in trading. You are forced to make it or else you got nothing else to rely on.

@UncleBugatti Haha let’s see, flight is on 29th but usually it’s 80% booked by now. Seems like everyone scared to fly in 😂

@UncleBugatti @Fsnurj I booked a ticket a month ago to visit my family in USA, it just happened to also be the last flight out of UAE to USA before the shutdown

It's never going to happen...
It's an open door for blatant tax evasion and money laundering.
Also, would make for a solid argument that TopStep is actually an unregulated off exchange futures dealer (illegal), seeing as you can trade futures in sim and still have the realized financial operation from dong so.
The crossover for "wash trading" would also be a regulatory nightmare.
It's a cute pipe dream,

One of the biggest advantages I see with taking a payout from a prop firm into a broker is taxes.
If you planned to move that payout into a broker, but you are forced to take the payout and then into a broker. You can only allocate a % of that payout into a broker due to having to save some for taxes.
Haven’t spoken to my CPA yet but if you can take a payout —> broker through the prop and not get taxed because you technically didn’t get paid. It could be something interesting.
English

@ICT_Concepts That’s the thing, if the prop itself is transferring profits from one account to another through their internal flow - which has never been sent to your bank, are you technically paid?
English

@FuturesFlow I wish. Not here in the US.
Doesn’t work like that.
Prop money is 1099’d and can not be rolled over to a tax benefit like some investment income from the market or real estate might.
English

@FuturesFlow Afaik, that’s not how it works.
You would still be taxed.

@Arshiaethe @TraderYush @tradingview Traders can get all nerdy and technical they want about what’s right and what’s wrong. I’m just going by what works for me.

“I don’t have any hinder in my performance”
I’ve made triple what I’ve made last year and I’ve used TV charts almost the whole year.
Most obsess about the having too much information, I did it at one point as well with footprints. For me the TV footprint brought me back to basics and made me only look for the most obvious clues.
English

Not going to lie after using @tradingview footprint for past 6 months and building around it its grown on me.
It's a solid footprint. Convenient and has all the needed features I need (mostly stacked imbalances and bid and ask)

@FuturesFlow 25k for 57 and 50k for 45 🤔 what the special difference
