Do not panic people. The game isn't fully censored yet. All the uncensored outfits, animations, interactions, etc are all STILL in the game, including the new content.
Be patient and wait for official word. You haven't lost anything yet.

@nin10doland I absolutely love Pigma's new design. He actually looks like this tired gruff old mercenary now rather than... whatever he was before.
English

@MFMEHLOW @KirbyCheatFurby Also I JUST realized this says Fox McLOUD instead of McCloud lmao.
English

@MFMEHLOW @KirbyCheatFurby You're right, he is 50. This picture is from the original SNES version. However, they changed the ages in SF 64. Peppy is 41 in that game (Fox is 18 for reference). Assault is nine years later, so that 50 is accurate.

English

@Grimzilla32 @AlbertoSal9 @LylatArwing I think Nintendo wants to avoid Krystal as much as possible sadly.
English

@AlbertoSal9 @LylatArwing I'm gonna be honest, they need to make sure they work Krystal McCloud back in, she's massively missed by the Star fox fandom
English

@LylatArwing I wish it wasn't a SF64 remake, but I'm still very much excited! Already pre-ordered the game.

@TooMuchCookies_ @eStarland It might have been rated higher if it was reviewed in 1995/1996 when it should have released. But in 2017, people are of the opinion that the SNES Star Fox games are not worth playing. It's a tougher pill for them to swallow. Even more so with SF2 with how different it is.
English

@eStarland Why is Starfox 2 so low? I think its pretty ambitious and has cool features considering it's still an SNES game. The all range mode aiming can be pretty annoying though.
English

@AdriWindGB While there is a lot of controversy on the designs, and the fact that it's a remake, the game itself will not be bad. Unless you already hate SF64, this game is working off the foundation of an already amazing game. It's very faithful as you said.
English

@joniniplo @AdriWindGB Yeah, for the people that don't play these games I kinda just ignore them. And I do agree that each of the games play very differently from each other. But as a huge SF fan, I would still say that SF64/SF0 are very much reimaginings of the same thing.
English

@GDragonDev @AdriWindGB Your opinion is valid but a lot of people who don’t play these games genuinely say they’re all the same game and act as if the issue is that the games are railshooters and they have to change genres to evolve
English

@joniniplo @AdriWindGB This doesn't happen in Star Fox. At least as much as it should. You don't get to see the progress of Lylat or its people outside of Assault and Command. It would be so cool to play a new SF game, returning to Venom and explore the ruins of Andross old lab. But that never happens.
English

@joniniplo @AdriWindGB Although Zelda has the same "Link vs Ganon" in every game, we know each game is a reincarnation in a different era. The benefit of this is you can see how the world slightly changes between games/eras. If you're a fan, you're rewarded by recognizing things from previous games.
English

@Stealth40k I do remember how divisive Wind Waker was when it came out. Especially after people saw that SpaceWorld 2000 Tech Demo with Link vs Ganondorf. It was a huge tonal shift. But personally, I still think it's a beautiful game.
English

@Mikerophone13 @AvgFalcomProtag If you're asking about other Star Fox games, then it's mostly just the story thats the same. You fly through the same planets, but the objectives/pathing might be different between games.
But in the case of this new game, it's really exactly the same missions.
English

@AvgFalcomProtag As someone who has never played a Star Fox game, is retelling the same story the only thing that’s the same? Or are the extra missions, different paths, etc. also in the previous games?
English

@KoronellukinhaC In these head shots, I actually quite like the new design. It just degrades when you see his whole body and the proportions tho.
If I take the entire body into consideration, then Zero probably has the best design.
English

@AvgFalcomProtag 64 takes elements from 1 and 2, such as the popular Star Wolf team working for Andross, who originally debuted in the unreleased Star Fox 2 for SNES.
English

@AvgFalcomProtag I'm actually surprised how many people are arguing against this. Star Fox 64 is 100% a reimagined retelling of SF 1&2.
Star Fox 64 takes place with Andross first attack on Corneria. Which literally couldn't be possible if it's a canonical sequel to SF 1.
