We had a wonderful String Theory Orchestra Program at school this afternoon! For the last 11 weeks this group has worked hard! Great job everyone! 🎻💚

GLE was lucky to have Charlie Brown (Ms. Chambers) and Lucy (Mrs. Wyatt) join us for class today! 🏈 Tomorrow is ‘Winter Solstice Wonderland’ Day! Wear a scarf, toboggan, and other snow gear! ❄️🩵

Our PTO meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 5-6 PM in the school library. Please plan to join us! NOTE: THERE WILL NOT BE A PTO MEETING IN DECEMBER!!

Ms. Brogan is working hard on setting up some cool adventures with the VR Sets. Mr. David took it for test run this morning! More pictures of the adventures coming soon!

2nd grade just finished Ancient Greek Civilizations in CKLA and they hosted their very own Greek Dinner Party! They wore togas, tried olives, grapes, cheese, breads, and even started to learn about Hercules!

As a reminder, there will be no school tomorrow November 5th. Many of the schools in the area are used as polling locations! See you Lizards on Wednesday! 🦎 💚

5th Grade had a busy week last week with 2 field trips to Virginia Tech! One day they visited the Geoscience Museum and another day they visited the Robotics Labs in Goodwin Hall! 🪨🤖

Check out 2nd grade and their Halloween costumes! They were able to incorporate what they are learning about in Language Arts!
