I am beyond blessed and proud to officially announce my commitment to play @CatawbaFootball ❤️🖤 with a full ride (academic and athletic scholarships)! This decision means more to me than just football or school. It represents faith, perseverance, and a journey that almost broke me—but didn’t. Not long ago, my life looked completely different. Being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma forced me into the hardest fight I’ve ever faced. There were days I was exhausted, scared, sick from chemo, and unsure of what tomorrow would look like. There were moments when the game I loved felt so far away, and the future felt uncertain. But even in the lowest moments, God never left my side. Through every treatment, every setback, and every doubt, God gave me strength when I had none. He carried me when my body was weak and my mind was tired. This journey taught me patience, humility, gratitude, and what it truly means to trust Him when you don’t understand the plan. I fought every day—not just for football, but for my life. And by the grace of God, I’m still standing, still dreaming, and now stepping into the next chapter stronger than ever. I want to thank my family for never leaving my side, my doctors and nurses for saving my life, my coaches, personal trainer, and teammates for believing in me even when things got hard, and everyone who prayed for me—you played a bigger role than you’ll ever know. Thank you to all the other colleges and coaches that extended offers. However, Catawba believes in me as both an athlete and a person, and I couldn’t be more grateful to join a program that values faith, resilience, and brotherhood. I’m ready to give everything I have on and off the field. This is proof that setbacks don’t define you—faith does. God’s plan is always greater. All glory to Him. On February 4th, I’ll be signing my National Letter of Intent and announcing the college that will be my new home. I want to thank everyone who has supported me throughout this process. This has been my dream since I first put on pads and a helmet at the age of 4. The journey hasn’t been easy—full of highs, lows, and uncertainty—but I’m grateful for every step.
