@mysteriouskat You're like those propagandists during Soviet times who kept saying communism is about workers' rights. Everyone who witnessed it in practice knows better.

At its core, feminism is about choice (and equality of opportunity). That means you can choose to be a girlboss or a tradwife. Both options come at a cost. A girlboss may sacrifice her personal life, to an extent. A tradwife not only sacrifices a career (which she may or may not see as a sacrifice), but also can become trapped if the marriage does not work out. It also puts massive pressure on the husband as a sole provider. Both options come at a risk. And with their own rewards. But it's up to each person to choose, and ideally not shame each person, regardless of their choice. It's their life to live.

I wish I wasn't running everything, but I'm raising a son on my own because his father is a complete child that refuses to work. I've raised this child on my own and done a really good job of it. He's a great kid. And before you say I needed to make better choices, this post I'm responding to is about men being better than women at handling business. I actually started my own home business so that I could successfully homeschool my child for 10 years. And I wish I hadn't had to do that, but it is what it is. I agree, men should be running things, but we also should get the soy out of our diet first.

@Green_k100 What's it called when you cannot take it anymore but you carry on? Being British... or Canadian... it seems to be a disease common to the commonwealth. It worked great during the Blitz, not so well when your leaders are purposefully dismantling civilization.

@DantesHeat I know you’re trying to be edgy bc you’re filled with some kind of resentment towards women but all it shows is that you have zero sense of camaraderie, responsibility, consideration & care for those around you. outing yourself as not dependable in public lol

@lapislagoons Because that's what it is. Every time I'm told by a woman what it means to be a man, it's always something that benefits her at my expense. Women are greedy and nasty and only want to take from men because they're either too lazy or stupid to do things for themselves.

@jess_ann_pin Says someone who belongs to the most spoiled, coddled, protected demographic ever to walk the face of the Earth. Civilization is build by men to benefit women. Any claims otherwise are a scam to gain even more power for women.

… every major large-scale civilization has been disproportionately built by men and has oppressed women. There is no exception to this. Women have fought for our rights within patriarchal civilizations. But we had to fight, sacrifice, and even die for our freedom. I am included among women who have had to fight and sacrifice for women’s rights in a civilization that denied me equal rights at severe cost to my and other women’s bodily integrity and quality of life.
Advent@Advent616

@jess_ann_pin @jjoosshhuuaab That's true like Middle Eastern societies which I as a man have a problem with. But again, what you're feeling to realize is the irony. I don't deny those societies are flawed and go to extremes against their women. Which is why I'm glad I'm an American.

I think the saddest thing about feminism is how revolutionary it seems. How can a movement for equal treatment at best and common human dignity at worst ruffle so many feathers? How can it be so difficult to understand? How can it be met with so much pushback? It is so obscene.

@Romy_Holland NO. Women change what "literally all they want" from moment to moment, and it's very often contradictory. You say you want men to fix things, then next time you get mad because you only want to vent, then the next time you get mad because you're equal and independent.

crashed out bc my house was a disaster and my baby is teething or something and wouldn’t let me put him down all afternoon and fiancé cheerfully was like “okay give me 60 seconds” and then he finished an email, walked downstairs, put on 70s progressive rock, and cleaned everything up in an hour. i went outside and came back to find him windexing the coffee table. you need to understand that literally all women want is a man who fixes things.

Attraction to wealthy men is as biological as a man’s attraction to a swimsuit model. Men should provide for their women. Money is the modern way of indicating the ability to provide for her and her offspring. Now, that just biology and we are not animals. There are better ways to choose obviously

I don’t think most women are really looking for a wealthy husband; they more just want financial stability, which is fair.

@Hedosit_Fofi @theistinthought Had one recently tell me she isn't looking for a wealthy husband, just one that makes enough that she can quit her job and be a stay at home mom for a huge brood of kids. Unless she's planning on packing those kids into a double wide trailer, she's talking about a wealthy husband

@StandOnGuardCA @CelticAshes I don't know... no offence. Bland and inoffensive is excellent camouflage for many situations Canadians find themselves in. In Canada the tallest blade of grass is the first to get mowed.

A TikTok by @colascornerrr (Cola) says racism in Canada, especially Ontario, is still systemic, less obvious than in the U.S. but built into education, healthcare, and housing. She argues Black and brown communities, including kids, still face stacked odds and says she’s done debating people who deny it, focusing instead on protecting her family, adding “they’re just a little bit nicer about it.” Canada is supposedly this deeply racist country, yet it offers programs like the Black Entrepreneurship Loan Fund with loans up to $250,000, Black Opportunity Fund grants, wage subsidies for hiring Black workers, and targeted homeownership initiatives. On top of that, billions in foreign aid are sent to countries many immigrants come from, all funded by taxpayers. It is Canadians who are suffering at the expense of these people.
