A woman in Japan wrote to a TV show because her dog Sacchan kept getting fatter and she had no idea why. A reporter followed him for a day.
Sacchan was letting himself into neighbours’ homes, eating their dogs’ food, getting snacks at the train station, receiving Pocky sticks at a travel agency, and getting a bath at a stranger’s house. The entire town knew him by name. His owner had no idea.
