Is it time to reduce the max number clubs from 14 to 10? There is no downside to the game, reduces costs, more exercise with clubs being carried, less time to play AND more SHOTMAKING required! In the past Majors have been won using as many as 31 clubs and as few as 7 #JustTen

I hope those abusing police, both on here and at ‘protests’(aka riots),don’t plan to call the police if they are the victims of any crimes in the future. Also, will the rioters volunteer to replace our police and stop terrorists when the next attack takes place in the UK?

I despair at my timeline this morning. We are a few weeks in to a crisis that has months - possibly years - to run and people are already trying to conduct the inquiry that will come afterwards. Is it too much to ask that we focus on what to do now rather than who to blame?

Some good news from the Pro Shop. The Old course is back open after the battering it took from storm Dennis.There are 6 temporary greens and the short 16/17 in play.There is also a buggy ban in place. The Newton course is still closed due to flooding.

Today's course news. There are 8 temporary greens and short 16/17 on the Old course. The Newton course is open. The buggy route is in place on both courses. Due to a mechanical fault with the driving range ball dispenser the driving range is currently closed.

DUE TO A PROBLEM WITH WITH THE BALL MACHINE THE DRIVING RANGE IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
