Pins for Pinboard

Pins for @Pinboard is now available for iOS + macOS: apps.apple.com/us/app/pins-fo… Offline access to all bookmarks. Filter with smart collections. Share extension, drag-and-drop, Shortcuts. Widgets, Spotlight search, Handoff, multitasking, keyboard shortcuts. More to come soon!

The nice thing about Interlink is that I’m able to leverage the Pins code base I’ve been working on in the last 2 years, plus introducing more SwiftUI to modernize some flows. Teaser 2: Share extension with AutoFill support. Also, a sneak peek at the brand new Filters screen.

@lasombra_br I've no immediate plan to offer archival account-style support but if we're talking about just bookmarks, definitely.

I manage to squeeze in a new Quality of Life improvement for the next update. It addresses an age-old problem: Link rot. I add a new “Time Travel” button to the in-app browser in case you run into dead links you previously bookmaked.

This feature is powered by the Time Travel Find service: timetravel.mementoweb.org

What if I don’t use the in-app browser, you may ask. Well, context menu to the rescue! The “View Cached” option of course.

If you've been waiting for Pins for macOS, it's in the work. The combo update (2022.2) is coming to TestFlight soon. This brings feature parity with iOS version: fallback data source, auto link expansion, tracker removal, tag presets, Pinboard search, full-text search.
