The new leader of Canada’s leftist party is self-proclaimed anti-Zionist Jew Avi Lewis. Avi would’ve snitched on Anne Frank’s family.

81 years ago this week, a 16-year-old girl in Nice, France passed her final school exam and the next day, the Gestapo came. 🕯️ Her name was Simone Jacob. The world would later know her as Simone Veil. Born on July 13, 1927, in Nice, France, Simone grew up in a secular Jewish family that believed passionately in the French values of liberty, equality, and brotherhood. Her father was an architect. Her mother was a trained chemist who gave up her career to raise four children. They were French first, Jewish second - patriots who believed their country would protect them. They were wrong. In March 1944, sixteen-year-old Simone sat her baccalauréat - her final school examination - using her real name. It was a small act of courage and normalcy in a city already suffocating under Nazi occupation. Her family had false identity papers. Her mother had begged her not to use her real name. She passed the exam. The next day, walking through the streets of Nice to celebrate with her classmates, she was stopped by two German officers in plain clothes. They checked her papers. They saw through the falsification. She was arrested on the spot. Within hours, the Gestapo had found her entire family. Simone, her mother, and her sisters were sent first to the transit camp at Drancy - then loaded onto Convoy 71, bound for Auschwitz-Birkenau. They arrived on April 15, 1944, after two and a half days locked in overcrowded, airless cattle cars. Simone was sixteen years old. She was given prisoner number 78651. At Auschwitz, Simone and her sisters survived through sheer will - supporting each other through forced labor, starvation, and cold so brutal it felt deliberate. Because it was. Her mother shielded them as much as she could, whispering courage into them in the dark. Her father and brother, deported separately, were never seen again. In early 1945 the three sisters were transferred to Bergen-Belsen. Their mother - weakened to nothing - died of typhus just weeks before the camp was liberated. She had kept her daughters alive long enough to see them survive. Then she was gone. Simone returned to France in May 1945. She was seventeen years old. She had no parents. She had no home. She had a number tattooed on her arm and a grief so vast it had no edges. She could have disappeared into it. Instead she went to university. She studied law. She became a magistrate. She fought for prison reform and the dignity of detainees. In 1974, she was appointed France's Minister of Health and stood alone in a parliament full of hostile men to argue for a law legalizing abortion - enduring hours of mockery and hatred and won. The law is still called the Veil Law today. In 1979 she became the first woman elected President of the European Parliament. In 2008 she was voted into the Académie Française - only the sixth woman in its history. In 2018, France buried her in the Panthéon - among the greatest heroes the nation has ever produced. When asked once how she carried everything she had survived, Simone Veil said simply: "I never forgot. But I chose to build." She died on June 30, 2017, aged 89. The girl who walked out of Auschwitz with nothing but her name and gave the world everything. 🕯️ Hidden History

This photo will haunt me forever. The two children clinging to their mother in terror. The hopelessness. The fear in her eyes. They were kidnapped alive and brutally murdered simply because they were born Jewish. I'll never forgive. I'll never forget.

Kemi Badenoch, my open letter to UK Jews: all of us battling together, we will defeat this hatred. @KemiBadenoch "This year I can’t write the usual sort of Passover message. I am tired of reading platitudes and warm words, expressions of solidarity which ring hollow when we can all see what is happening around us." thejc.com/opinion/my-ope… "I did not learn about Passover from reading the Haggadah or even in church, but from watching The Ten Commandments over and over again. Even as a young child in Nigeria, growing up in a Christian home, the story of liberation from slavery in ancient Egypt – a journey from oppression to freedom, from exile to homeland – was singularly inspiring." "It was only as an adult that I learned the deepest message of Passover: that for Jews, gaining freedom is not a one-off historical event, but is something which Jews have to fight for and guard in every generation."

How can it be that Great Britain has become so weak and stands on the wrong side of history? How can this land of hope and glory, mother of the free, be so pathetic against the murderous terrorists of the Islamic Republic? For 20 years Iran has kidnapped British sailors and menaced British ships. British intelligence services have thwarted plots by its proxies and now arrested alleged spies seeking to harm British Jews and Iranian dissidents. Iran is firing drones and ballistic missiles at British bases. And yet Britain appeases the Islamic Republic and claims to be “uninvolved”. Enough! Proscribe the IRGC. Expel the Iranian ambassador. Shut down the offices of Iranian state TV. Dismantle the Ayatollah’s infrastructure in London and tear out this malignant presence by its roots. It was an honour to stand with Iranian patriots today and send a message to the appeasers who are blackening Great Britain’s name at home and abroad.

Why don't the marching fuckwits listen to the Iranian people?
Siaxares 🇮🇷@siaxares

I’m a dissident in Iran, connecting right now via @Starlink during the #DigitalBlackOutIran‌. The vast majority of Iranians vehemently oppose this regime. Thousands of us have already died proving it. Most of those martyrs had active online accounts. Look up their names. You’ll see they all stood for a free Iran and the return of Pahlavi. Our most common slogans say it all: "Long live the King" and "This is the final battle — Pahlavi will return." Right now, the Iranian people are staying in their homes because @realDonaldTrump , @netanyahu , and @PahlaviReza himself asked us to until the bombings stop. We are waiting. We know the price of freedom will be high. But the price of letting this regime survive is far higher. We have accepted the cost — this war. The regime’s time is over. #KingRezaPahlavi‌ForIran #IranRevolution2026

@LizaRosen0000 @SpoiltheG5 What kind of pervert does one have to be to think of raping a two year old? Chemical castration is needed for these perverts. Not two year old girls being covered from head to toe.

An Arab Muslim scholar on TV says that parents have an obligation to cover 2-year-old girls with Islamic veils to prevent the little girls from tempting Muslim men to rape them. What do you think about his advice?

@afneil @ThomasEvansAdur He's @ZackPolanski a disgrace to the Jewish community. Not someone in whom we can take any pride. He's a useful idiot to those who will eat him up and regurgitate him when he's served their purpose.

Polanski is a know-nothing blowhard. The only Jewish person to lead a political party — bar, that is, Benjamin Disraeli, Ed Miliband, Michael Howard, Jimmy Goldsmith and Herbert Samuel. He is clearly ignorant of the country’s history. And much more besides.
Zack Polanski@ZackPolanski

For whoever needs to hear this I'm the only Jewish person to lead a political party - third largest in the country. The Daily Mail have been & always will be my enemy - they historically supported fascists & continue to do so. I'll take no lectures from them on Antisemitism.

YES: Zelensky has been formally nominated for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize — and somewhere in Mar-a-Lago, a man is absolutely losing his mind over it. The nomination was submitted by a professor at the University of Oslo, citing Zelensky and the Ukrainian people's defense of democracy against Russian aggression as a force that has helped preserve peace across Europe. The argument is straightforward: Ukraine didn't just fight for its own survival — it held the line for a continent. While Trump floats the idea of handing Ukraine over like it's some kind of real estate deal, Zelensky was busy being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. The contrast is almost too good. Nobel specialists have been quick to note that winning as an active wartime leader would be historically unusual — the committee tends to prefer its laureates on the other side of the conflict. But the nomination itself? That's a statement. Three hundred eligible nominators from 33 countries signed on. This isn't a fringe gesture. This is the international community making clear whose side of history it's on. And then there's Trump — who has spent years chasing the Nobel like a man obsessed, even going so far as to reportedly pressure world leaders to nominate him. He's gotten nothing. Zelensky, who has spent three years in a war zone, leading his country under the constant threat of missiles, hasn't asked for a single award — and the nominations keep coming. The Nobel Committee will announce its decision in October. Whether Zelensky wins or not almost doesn't matter at this point. The message has already been sent. And the world is paying attention. Drop a 🇺🇦 if you think Zelensky deserves it.

@hearnimator @nicolelampert Conform to what? This sounds threatening. Attachment to the Land of Israel, often referred to just as Eretz, Hebrew for Land, is central to Judaism. The word Israel appears on practically every page of the Siddur or Prayer Book. @ZackPolanski must know this.
