Half education (not necessarily academic) can be very dangerous, especially if you are someone who is not truthful to yourself. It has the possibility of creating a high level of insecurity. If the person is not properly guarded, there’s the tendency of becoming unnecessarily defensive towards others and harboring thoughts like… “they think they know better than me because they are more educated” OR “at least I am more educated than they are, they can’t know better than I do”. When you engage in a any conversation, at the very least, always leave room for you to learn something

You have to choose people that are good for your nervous system. That challenge you to grow without constantly mischaracterizing you.

There is a very thin line between trying to make clarity of a situation by providing an explanation and being defensive / unaccountable. If not careful they can easily be mistaken for one another both by the actor and the receipient

Lately, I’ve been learning that accountability isn’t self-blame. My feelings can be valid, and my actions can still need work. There’s a difference between reacting emotionally and responding with perspective.

@GnosisThoth @ehisssss I can agree with this. We “grow” through more experiences as we age and that definitely plays a role into the person we become.

Surround yourself with people who know and value your worth. It is also quite important you only stay in a circle that you are truly wanted and accepted. Don’t ever force acceptance !!!

A relationship that ends still gives you something: moments of real joy, evidence of your own capacity to love, and a clearer picture of what you need. You don't have to rewrite the whole story as a loss just because the ending was painful.

In any situation you find yourself, where possible, at the very least try to pick at minimum one lesson. It helps for self evaluation and development.

Not everyone should be qualified to be called a “friend”, just because you have a connection with someone or constantly communicate with them, shouldn’t make you automatically consider them a friend. Take time to actually know and bond with people before letting them into your life in such a capacity to call them a “friend”. Things generally take time to grow, don’t be so eager to speed up the process.

It's hard to trust when you've been let down by many people you trusted.
