This week, our Community Engagement and Human Resources teams proudly represented HART at the 2026 HCPS Career Exploration Summit. Over two days, the team connected with more than 400 students and faculty through multiple sessions held at the South County Bus Office and Monroe Middle School. The summit highlights high school students with disabilities who are exploring future career opportunities, and we were honored to share insights about careers in public transportation. #CareersInTransit #JoinHART

Due to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Tampa, several HART routes will be on detour while streets along and near the parade route are temporarily closed. The following routes will be affected: 1, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 19, 30, 360LX, and 400. Detours will be in effect from 9 AM to 7 PM. gohart.org/Pages/maps-ale…

The 2026 #HARTBlackHistory Bus Tour wrapped up last week with visits to Lake Magdalene Elementary and Academy Prep! This year’s tour visited 16 @HillsboroughSch schools, engaging 4,103 students with stories of African Americans who helped shape our community. For many students, it was also their first experience on a HART bus, where they learned about public transportation and the legacy of Rosa Parks. The Black History bus will remain in service throughout 2026 so riders can continue to experience it.
