In 2012, the government of Ghana took $200 million loan to construct 5,000 housing units. Just about 1,500 units were partially completed. Till date, the project isn’t completed
The then sector Minister, Hon. Collins Dauda was standing trial for willfully causing financial loss to the State. But the case got dropped when the NDC took office in 2025.
In the end, the taxpayers’ money has gone to waste
