Today we hosted Dr Craig Wilson of @TAMU And @usda Research service to share knowledge about soils plants and insect life cycles! Kids created soil art and went on a hunt for fossils in our limestone walls @AustinISD_STEM @AustinISDGreen

We called it Reader Gras! Kids and staff caught Reading lots today this week got a special cup! Also learned about the Mardi Gras Indians and Black Indigenous roots of part of this holiday. King Cake tastings a plus!

In 3rd grade library today we read and loved "Our Tree Named Steve" by @AlanZweibel and explored the @Govalle_Roadies campus to find a tree to adopt this year @AustinISDGreen #TexasArborDay
