Those calling for Potter out need to understand there are other implications. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t object to a managerial change. I am currently very low in confidence that Potter has whats needed to pull us out of this mess, even with 2-3 more signings. However, during the past few months, the club has been set up around him and making the change to a new manager means another structural overhaul that we can barely afford or stomach. Getting rid of Moyes was part of a structural change where we looked like we were moving in the right direction - ie setting up a DOF model. The club knew Moyes wouldn’t like the new model. So, when he refused a new contract on this basis, the club effectively killed two birds with one stone, changing both manager and structure in one foul swoop. This looked like a positive step forward. Unfortunately, the meddling cock-height shite then ignored the DoF’s picks for manager and went for his own cheap option - no surprise. However, Sullivan, true to form, then reduced the DoF’s power in the first transfer window of the new structure, spreading the load between the DoF, the new manager and himself. He then uses his stooges and stooge websites to peddle anti-Steidten rhetoric as soon as the first negative results appear. So, Loppy is outed and we’re in need of a new manager in the first six months of the so-called new structure. What comes next is beyond belief. After telling us countless times, through his stooges, that he doesn’t rate Potter and attributes his previous success at Brighton to the club not the manager, Sullivan then appoints Potter. We’re led to believe that such was Sullivan’s doubt about Potter, he insisted on a maximum 6 month contract length. Enter Brady, the queen of negotiations, who agrees a two and a half year deal, with an eighteen month break. So, with the cock-height shite having doubts about the new manager’s ability, he rips up the newly formed DoF structure altogether and goes ALL-IN on Potter. He decides to not only make him coach, but to give him autonomy over recruitment, pays £1m to get Potter his guy, and allows him to start building his own coaching and transfer structure. It was utter madness to throw the baby out with the bath water and completely abandon the DoF structure before it had the slightest chance to develop. If Steidten was the problem, and that’s a debatable ‘if’, then he should have gone BEFORE Loppy and a new DOF should have been appointed BEFORE deciding on another new manager. Anyway, back to the point. Due to the fact we have gone ‘all-in’ on Potter, it’s gonna be another structural overhaul to replace him - thanks to a lack of foresight, a lack of planning, and the complete and utter mismanagement of the club. They’ve effectively backed a manager that the chairman doesn’t rate to build a new structure, and then not backed him with finance to get the players - it’s an utter fvcking joke. Of course, they could just replace him with another cheap yes man who’s happy to work within the fvcked up structure we have - but I am not sure that solves any longer term problems. Therefore, I think they are going to rely on hope, rather than any shred of confidence, that Potter can turn this around soon. Of course, this could have all been part of a cunning plan, that will become obvious in time, rather than the actions of a demented, deranged, money-grabbing, fuckwit of an old man.

The only way we get our message across to this disgrace of a board is to vote with our feet. Boycott the next home game, hit Sullivan in the pocket. Get it moving. #GSBOUT
