ESPN reporter Holly Rowe has called out Tennessee AD Danny White over the handling of the Lady Vols program:
“What Danny White is allowing to happen to the Lady Vols is making me so sad,” Rowe posted. “Gut wrenching to watch him let one of the greatest programs in women’s sports history disintegrate. I am devastated.”
Rowe’s social media post came just an hour after #LadyVols freshman guard Jaida Civil announced her intentions to enter the transfer portal.
Coach Kim Caldwell will have zero players returning from the 2025-26 roster, and will look to replace 13 total players this offseason.

Talk yo 💩, and the fact that they want grace extended to someone who could care less about the program or its history when the previous coaches eat, slept, and bled 🍊 is beyond me

So Caldwell supporters want Tennessee fans to take the slow, steady, and patient approach. Why should this grace be extended to Kim when it wasn’t extended to the previous 2 coaches????

I think the most unsettling thing about our Women's basketball program is that no one really knows why it collapsed the way it did. Speculation certainly abounds, but unless the problem is known it can't be fixed. I hope it's found and fixed soon.

@ThunderCast_Pod Not part of TN tree. I honestly do not have a clue what’s going on. But the entire team is in the transfer portal and one 5 ⭐️ commit asking to be released and two coaches gone (one resigned and the other fired) and only one HS Recruit left but yet Caldwell has not been fired. 🤔

Mia, a 5-6 freshman, averaged 10.4 ppg, 2.5 apg and 1.1 spg this season. Mya, a 5-6 freshman, averaged 1.8 ppg this season.
