Sennybridge in Powys has just had it's coldest start to April for over 50 years; the thermometer dipped down to -6.7C.
Tulloch Bridge in Scotland was colder still at -8.0C, Katesbridge in Northern Ireland, -6.6C and Bridgefoot (Cumbria) was England's cold spot at -4.8C.
