🚨 New Article Release 🚨 🔹 Seven Counter-Influences on the Modern Christian: Navigating Faith in a Fragmented World 🔹 In a world where faith is constantly challenged by cultural, technological, and ideological shifts, how can modern Christians stand firm? My latest article dives deep into seven key forces—Secular Humanism, Consumer Culture, Relativism, Digital Influence, Progressive Ideology, Spiritual Pluralism, and Pandemic Loneliness—shaping our beliefs, habits, and communities. These aren’t just abstract ideas; they’re real, everyday pressures we all face. From the screen time that steals our focus to the rising belief that “all paths work,” I explore how these forces shape faith today—and, more importantly, how we can resist them. ⚡ Read the full article here: x.com/H3ndriksJ/stat… 📖 Let’s discuss—what challenges do you see shaping faith in 2025? This week: the governance gap. Next week: confident misalignment — agents that are wrong and structurally certain they're right. That's where it gets real. Read the argument: nonsequitur.tech/blog/tech/ai-a… The framework: https://nonsequitur.tec…

"Just add guardrails later" is the agentic AI version of "we'll write tests after launch." Governance isn't a patch. It's architecture. You either build agents on structural accountability or you build confident liabilities. There is no third option. =

This week's argument in one line: the gap between demo-ready agents and production-grade agents isn't capability. It's governance. Every failure I've seen in production traces back to missing structure, not missing intelligence. =

"Just add guardrails" sounds responsible until you realize guardrails bolted onto an ungoverned architecture are prompt-level hope at best. Governance is either structural or it's theater. =

Steelman: "But advanced models follow instructions reliably now." Sure. Until they don't. And in production, "until they don't" is the only scenario that matters. Governance isn't about distrusting the model — it's about never making the model your last line of defense. =

Prompts are suggestions. Architecture is authority. If your agent's boundaries live in the system prompt, you don't have governance — you have hope. I build systems where the structure refuses, not the model. The governance gap is an architecture problem. =

The governance gap isn't a missing feature. It's a missing layer of architecture. I build agentic AI in production and the models are never the problem — the lack of structural authority around them is. =

It's a governance gap, not a capability gap. The fix isn't a bigger model — it's an architecture that refuses irreversible actions until human authority signs the cosign.

Confident misalignment is the new outage. A green dashboard. A coherent answer. Quietly wrong.

Everyone's asking if AI agents are smart enough. Wrong question. 40%+ of agentic-AI projects get scrapped by 2027 (Gartner) — not because they're dumb, because they're ungoverned. The real danger: an agent that's fluent, confident, completely wrong — and silent. nonsequitur.tech/blog/tech/ai-a…

@tobyliiiiiiiiii Reusability is the architectural bet. April 1 is the first real test of whether it pays.

Less Lucrative Ransomware Market Makes Attackers Alter Methods — The Markdown #box-02" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">justin-kuiper.com/the-markdown/#… Used to be good money in lockin’ things up. Hold a man’s files hostage, wait for him to pay. But the pay ain’t what it used to be. So the boys changed trades. No more breakin’ safes. Now they ride the rails already laid— use the tools sittin’ right there in the car. No noise. No fuss. Just takin’ what’s left behind.

Measuring progress toward AGI: A cognitive framework — The Markdown #box-01" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">justin-kuiper.com/the-markdown/#… We’re trying to measure intelligence… with tools built for machines. At some point, the metric stops describing the system and starts shaping it. Humans don’t just have intelligence. They have wisdom. They have discernment. And they carry something machines don’t— the capacity to make ethical decisions. Which means this can’t be fully automated. Someone still has to decide what actually matters.
