In case anyone was wondering: we don't look at any of the submissions until the submissions window closes. There is no benefit to submitting early. So it's only now that we're looking at the submissions.

@klhicks912 Our magazine (now open for submissions!) accepts work in all genres, and some authors have submitted work to different issues in different genres, and we've published both. In one case the author used a pen name for the piece that was outside her normal genre.

I know that building an audience as an author means choosing a genre, but, do you believe a writer can write in more than one genre and be successful?
