I have used the username "HPUFan" with an avatar of my favorite retired HPU logo since 2010 to support my school who doesn't (and still doesn't) have enough dedicated fans. However, I mostly go to other schools' games because it's more fun to travel around than be disappointed.

Baseball 2026 Game 14: UNC Greensboro at Wofford, final 6-3 Wofford. Pitches per minute was 1.71. Terriers starting to get better again and should continue their hot streak Tuesday at Huge Dumpster Fire.

6-3 Terriers after 8. Not a lopsided game though the total pitches thrown is (173 for UNCG, 98 for Wofford).

Better inning that time for Wofford who leads 5-3 mid 8th.

Sloppiness still costing the Spartans though, 5-3 Terriers after 7.

3-3 at the stretch. This time it's UNCG with bad baserunning, but Wofford is crumbling now that the starter had to come out.

3-1 Wofford after 6. In addition to baserunning issues, the Terriers aside from that double in the 3rd haven't been hitting after getting walked.

Spartans staying in it with a HR to get on the board, 3-1 Terriers mid 6th.

3-0 Wofford after 5. Biggest issue so far for UNCG is that they have walked 6 Terriers already.

3-0 Terriers mid 5th. Weird that Wofford has played ultra aggressive at the plate and on the bases, but is playing good fundamental baseball on the mound and in the field.

3-0 Wofford after 4. Really need the pickoff limit rule in college baseball, that's a big source in the difference between college and the pros in pace of play.

3-0 Terriers mid 4th. So far Wofford is ahead by avoiding sloppiness.

3-0 Wofford after 3. Even on a 3 run double the Terriers managed to run the bases poorly trying to stretch it to a triple when they had no chance of one.

No score after 1. Going to break what I normally do in a scoreless game to note that trying to go from 1st to 3rd on a bunt when the 3rd place hitter is coming up is next level stupid baseball.

ESPN+ is basically like the old ESPN3 where you just watch a stream by clicking on the link, except that you have to pay more money to see it.

Umpires just now got here. What's weird about ESPN+ broadcasts being so terrible at getting going on time is that the Clemson game started 2 minutes past the hour on Thursday, and that was on ACC Network which has an actual television lineup to deal with.

These teams used to charge for baseball, but no longer do and thus I give them a longer leash when it comes to bad play.
