The Sahel Camp used to get food from our kitchen regularly but we have cut down recently. During our visit, the residents explained to The Sameer Project team that they no longer get community kitchens and are suffering a lot. Please help here: chuffed.org/project/help-u…
On June 7, the Translating Falasteen x The Sameer Project team gave out 300 meals of rice and vegetables to the Sahel Camp, which cost around $483 including 11% commission. Families asked us to bring meat meals but we currently can’t afford that.
The Sameer Project aspires to operate at maximum capacity and provides dignified meals to Palestinians in Gaza. But without enough funds that’s not feasible.

Did you know that a haircut in a genocide is considered a luxury? Did you know that it’s not accessible to many boys in camps?

This is why The Sameer Project provides a mobile barber to different camps. On June 17th, we provided 230 haircuts for the boys in Tawon Camp in Gaza City. The cost for the barbers including the 11% commission is around $188.
It’s something so small and simple but means a lot to the boys in Gaza. It also helps maintain hygiene with the lack of consistent water and high temperatures.

Bissan was born with nerve hypotonia, enlarged brain ventricles, cysts on her brain, spinal deformity and an enlargement of her kidney and liver. This little girl is surviving a genocide with no support. Help here: chuffed.org/project/136892…
Conditions like Bissan’s needs physiotherapy, consistent medical care, special food, speech therapy and more. None of which is available in a genocide and her father is struggling immensely trying to provide her with what she needs.
Such medical cases are neglected as most hospitals have been demolished and the medical system is barely functioning. This is why The Sameer Project provides regular care to such cases. Unfortunately we stopped taking cases last week due to lack of funds.
