60% of 1st round draft picks DO NOT make it to the NHL. If pro teams can't predict which players will be NHL caliber at 18, how can we predict who will make it when they are 8, 10 or 12? The answer: we can't. So the goal should be to keep as many playing for as long as possible.

Strong showing for Halifax Mooseheads prospect Eddy Doyle at the East Coast Ice Jam. The defenceman scored three goals and four assists in five games for the Kensington Wild. Doyle was a 4th round pick by the Mooseheads last June.
