The night the legendary Lucero Tena with @PlacidoDomingo showed how castanet playing is an art in itself. The intermezzo from the zarzuela "La boda de Luis Alonso" at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Sicily, four years ago today. Just one example of the virtuosity with which Tena has elevated the castanets to a solo instrument in her acclaimed career, this time combined with Domingo's joy in presenting the music of his country abroad.
