@sylvaingigan I am so sorry to hear this. Gabi was such a kind person and had so many brilliant ideas and I am very grateful that I met him. The world lost a giant in coherent and incoherent imaging theory and experiment.

Just heard of the sudden passing of Prof. Gabriel Popescu, a giant of optical microscopy, a very kind and witty colleague and friend. We had lunch less than a month ago during his sabbatical in Paris😢My thoughts are with his family, colleagues, students and friends. RIP Gabi.

@LenaSchimmel Zum Glück waren die Daten für Woche 49 bei nur gemeldeten 12 Fällen zu pessimistisch. Letztlich wurden es dann statt 11,2% jetzt 1.5% bei 152 Fällen. Aber Woche 50 sieht mit aktuell 7.6% Omicron (auch nur wenige PCR Tests) ähnlich düster aus. Jeder unterbundene Kontakt hilft!

@AndrewGYork @RetoPaul @DougPShepherd Indeed. Incoherent SIM is almost equal to coherent SIM excitation if you stay below approximately 85% of the limit frequency. Was a surprising result to me when I simulated this.
