This isn’t a mistake, or a bad policy decision, it’s a betrayal of every mother, baby and midwife. On the eve of the @MidwivesRCM annual conference this feels especially cruel and sends a devastating message to the midwives holding the system together.

Great to see our poster presentation along with many great QI projects for the quality improvement showcase @LG_NHS. We have reduced smoking at time of delivery by around 1.5% > 18 months. Around 8 smoke free pregnancies per month. The power of QI cannot be under estimated 😊
