On behalf of the government and the people of Plateau State, I appreciate UNICEF for their swift response and the interest they have shown in the calamity that has befallen us, their intervention has given us hope.
As a government we will continue to collaborate with all our international partners and make sure we maximize all the services they can render to our people.
I also pleaded with them to ensure the people return to their communities by providing things that make life easier to the community like water, education as we start the program of ‘return to the community’.
I appreciate them for coming and I look forward to collaborating more with our international partners.

In our collective effort to establish lasting peace in Mangu Local Government Area and other communities in Plateau State, I convened a meeting with Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, and his team.
They conducted an assessment of the recent security breach in Mangu. Achieving lasting peace necessitates collaboration among the Army, government, community leaders, and security agencies. It is not solely the responsibility of the military; we must work together.
Enhancing the morale of troops is crucial, and as a government, we will persist in promoting unity across faiths and ethnicities to attain enduring peace in the state.

Today, Plateau celebrated an Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service in gratitude for my election victory and the affirmation of the people's mandate at the Supreme Court. I extend my thanks to God Almighty, the one who enthrones and dethrones kings. Grateful for the privilege bestowed upon me, I appreciate the Plateau community for voting joyfully and without inducement, aligning with God's will.
Amidst challenges and frustrations, there were moments of doubt, but my faith in God's work prevailed. Thank you all for your prayers; God will remember your labor of love. Though I have nothing to offer on my own, with God, all things are possible.
This victory marks a new beginning, the start of fulfilling promises made to you. With God's grace, we are determined to lead Plateau to new heights, building upon the legacy of our great leaders. We will rise on their shoulders, elevating Plateau to unprecedented levels. God will provide the means, and I assure you, the commitment to this endeavor is unwavering.

This is the day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it.
The victory at the Supreme Court was not just one for the PDP but for the people of Plateau State.
We must not behave like the ten lepers, we must return quickly and give praise to God who made it possible.
This service was held in remembrance of our Fallen Heroes. We want to thank God for those Great men and women who devoted themselvess to the service of the nation.
Unfortunately, we have not done well in looking after those who have served the nation appropriately, And I am praying that as a nation, we will do better in looking after those who have served the nation valiantly.
For those of you who are still serving, we want to encourage you to continue to devote yourselves to the best of your conscience and ability to protect lives and properties.
As an institution, the armed forces are very crucial and central to the survival of every nation, and I must admit, like every institution in Nigeria, things have not been well.
As a government, we will continue to provide the necessary tools and enabling environment for the Armed Forces to effectively discharge their constitutional responsibilities of protecting the lives and property of citizens in the State.
I will continue to advocate that the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces will insist on the return to true professionalism within the armed forces and the security agencies, and I am sure when we begin that journey, it will be worthwhile.

I want to thank all of you for this rousing welcome back home. What it has done for me is that it has energized me, it has provoked me that for the rest of my life by the Grace of God, I will live for the interest of Plateau.
I will ensure that by the Grace of God what God has destined for Plateau, I will make sure that day and night I will work hard to make it a reality, that God enabling me, we will end the insecurity in Plateau.
Plateau people deserve better. Plateau will become a state where people will desire to come and stay within her borders.
This judgement is historic and highly significant in the political journey of Plateau State. It is the rebirth of a new Plateau where God has demonstrated his sovereignty as the owner and giver of power.

The Christian community and Muslim Leaders in Plateau State came together for a solemn peace walk to Plateau State Government House, Little Rayfield Jos, to commemorate the tragic loss of hundreds of lives during the Christmas Eve attacks in Bokkos, Mangu, and Barkin-Ladi Local Government Areas.
They brought forward their 10-points demand for peace. I am extremely grateful for the support of the Christian Community and the Muslim Leaders and I wish to assure them that there will be a prompt delivery of their 10 point demand to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The President, and my Administration, we are determined to secure our land and end this cycle of violence, I promise that the bloodshed will not be in vain.
