@ezralevant @KassyAkiva In my 26 years active duty Army I rarely cussed. When I did, my Soldiers knew that stuff was super serious. They engaged everything in a completely different manner. Then they all gathered and said 'omg did CSM just say that?' After kicking ass.

Gen. Patton on profanity: “When I want my men to remember something important, to really make it stick, I give it to them double dirty. It may not sound nice to some bunch of little old ladies at an afternoon tea party, but it helps my soldiers to remember. You can’t run an army without profanity; and it has to be eloquent profanity. An army without profanity couldn’t fight its way out of a piss-soaked paper bag.”

My mother and father. My mother died 10 years ago- she was abused mentally and physically by my father- a drug dealer that killed 2 people in a drug deal gone wrong. I’ve heard a lot of well-intended, but intellectually dishonest, motivated reasoning from academics and activists-about race, gun violence, and policing- they’ve dominated the conversations, narratives, and even policies related to these topics- I know that needs to change, mostly for the many victims and families affected. I’ve lived a life that’s given me perspective from the inside of those issues. The movie Superfly came out in 1972. Curtis Mayfield meant the songs to be a warning, but many men like my father chased the lifestyle as if Superfly was meant to be an anthem. I’m going to be doing a podcast discussing what got us to this type of violence and what can be done to address the factors. I hope to be joined by a man that fights the best fight- his group patrols violent streets looking to diffuse tensions before it escalates to deadly violence. I was born the same year Superfly came out. The title for the podcast is: “A Son of Superfly- an Uncomfortable Conversation for a Half Black Man.”

Tim describing the body of the being they loaded onto a C-130 out of Afghanistan: "The hair was red. The skin was pale white. It had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot. The pallet was 9 feet long and he's in the fetal position."

@SStricklandMMA Being someone that actually served my nation and vividly remembers the atrocities of 9-1-1. I propose that if you are a celebrity flapping your yap as if you know how and why tactical decisions are made you should sign up and put your own life on the line. Otherwise STFU!

Listen bro… you may be funny in a “that was literally the most random thing anyone has ever said” sort of way (and props on that, you’ve made lots of money just saying stupid shit), but your knowledge of how the world actually works (especially about warfare and geopolitics) is smaller than the joint you just lit up. Maybe stop crashing out about things you barely understand and stick to making your jokes. Good talk.
Theo Von@TheoVon

I meant the elites and politicians that are leading us into these wars might make different choices if it was their children. It was hard for me to be angry and talk at the same time. I am thankful for to our troops who serve and are far braver than me. And also wtf do i know.

Guys, maybe we shouldn’t listen to habitual drug using comedians that crash out live on Joe Rogan because they fell for propaganda made for illiterate peasants… Seems like they may be uneducated and uninformed about what they are ranting on.

@TheoVon You simply dont know and should have abstained from making this ridiculously uninformed comment that sounds like something from a boomer hippy. You are a funny comedian so just stick to telling jokes. @rickygervais has some wisdom you should ponder.

Theo, the military in the US is 100% voluntary. You don't join the military without knowing you can go into battle at any point in time. It's literally all they train to do. Service members are not victims. No idea where you got this weird narrative that rich kids don't join the military. Every walk of life decides to serve our nation. Rich kids, poor kids, white kids, black kids, hispanic kids, Asian kids, short kids, tall kids. No one "puts their kids in these wars". They all voluntarily join, freely of their own will, to serve their country and every single one of them has decided that their nation's life is more important than their own. Stop with this silly narrative that service members are all poor people who were forced into serving and potentially dying for their nation. It's uninformed, disrespectful and quite frankly ridiculous.

@middle_class_us Latte is about $6. More w tip. That’s at least $2200/year! Now add to that all the other stuff like lunch out versus packed. Restaurant versus cooking in. Grocery shopping versus Uber Eats, etc. it adds up to A LOT! Streaming services! Most ppl have spending issues.
