A number of projects ongoing for us just now, including at this soft fruit farm in Scotland. Exploratory drilling was carried out confirming the existence of a groundwater source which could be used for irrigation purposes. #borehole #irrigation

So not only does this new compressor allow us to drill boreholes much more quickly and safely (bearing timescales are often crucial) ...much like our Hycat drill rigs, we can also get to locations that others simply can't.

Our solution to this common issue was to mount the compressor onto a set of tracks, which can be operated remotely. Here "Popeye" can even be seen towing a trailer loaded with heavy drilling equipment which is essential for large diameter wells.

Recently we have been putting our new high-pressure & flow compressor (nicknamed "Popeye") to good use. On this project we drilled multiple large diameter water wells. There was a reasonable distance between each location, across uneven ground without easy vehicle access.

An example of control equipment with touch screen, for a @hydracrat water borehole / irrigator system on Scottish farm. A variable speed drive was set up to pump water at a flow rate of 50m³ per hour over 1600m distance, delivering a consistent 9 bar pressure to the fields.
